Prior to founding One Source Clinical & Management in 2006, Mr. Hakim held an executive position with a large Clinical Research Site in San Diego, CA. Prior to this, he held senior positions with Bayview Behavioral Campus, San Clemente Hospital and California Pacific Medical Center. Mr. Hakim founded a network of independent high-performing research sites across the country starting with TriWest Research Associates in 2009, Precision Research Institute in 2011, BioSolutions Clinical Research Center in 2014, 2015, ACRC Studies in 2015 and Blue Coast Research in 2020. Mr. Hakim is a serial entrepreneur who founder Cabrillo Infusion Center serving patients throughout San Diego County. Shortly after Mr. Hakim appointed President and CEO at ABT Medical Supply, a well-established Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company serving thousands of patients throughout San Diego and Imperial counties since 1999

Julia’s career in healthcare communications was inspired by her early experience as a cell biologist seeking novel cardiovascular therapies. Her global assignments on brands at all stages of the life cycle has conferred her with a diverse skill set that includes workshop design/moderation and strategic business planning. Julia places high value on understanding the patient journey and interpreting how this, along with the interactions between multi-disciplinary physicians, can impact healthcare outcomes. She is a pioneer in the development of Search Listening as a tool to improve the quality of the online information experience for both patients and healthcare professionals.

Mustafa ‘Mike’ Z Younis is an internationally recognized scholar at Jackson State University, Mississippi, USA. Dr. Younis served as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Society for Research of Healthcare Financial Management. Dr. Younis has authored and published over 200 articles, abstracts and presentations in refereed journals and meetings, and has presented at national and international conferences. Dr. Younis’ coauthored articles appeared in leading journals such as “Nature” “the Lancet” and “JAMA” and European Journal of Health Economics.Dr. Younis has administrative experience as Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management at Florida International University (FL, USA), where he led the accreditation efforts for the Healthcare Management Program & Senior Advisor to the President of Zirve University. Juan He has completed her MSc of Pharmacy from University of Toronto and had over 25 years of experience working in the field of clinical study design and conduct. She is currently VP of Pharmacometrics at a global early phase CRO called BioPharma Services Inc, focus on Phase 1 and BA/BE trials. Juan has set up and managed the sceintific/biopharmaceutical department inlcuding PK/Stats/Medical writing/Data Management in past 20 years for two CROs. She also represents company in medicine for EU and other regulatory/pharma industry associations including Asian such as Chinese market with NMPA submission. (Up to 100 words)

Dr. Bunin is on a patent for Kyprolis™ (Carfilzomib for Injection) — a selective proteasome inhibitor that received accelerated FDA approval for the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma that was widely viewed as the centerpiece of Amgen’s $10.4 Billion acquisition of Onyx Pharmaceuticals.
